Meet Tionie, Haven’s Managing Director and Midwife Consultant. With a nursing and midwifery background, Tionie’s specialist areas are Maternal Fetal Medicine, High Risk Pregnancy and Pregnancy Loss. Having set up the first Maternal Fetal Medicine unit at Gold Coast University Hospital in 2014, Tionie’s expertise sees her working for the Stillbirth Centre of Research Excellence on projects and travelling around Australia teaching the IMPROVE program to healthcare professionals on best practice in perinatal care practices. A strong believer in every woman receiving the best and most compassionate care, Tionie helps women at Haven to navigate their own pregnancy journey.
Tionie is happily married with two daughters who she loves to spend time with and secretly admits to counting her dog as one of her children!
